About the service

CiHR Talent is a career positioning and support platform for HR professionals. It is designed to help users get clearer on their direction, strengthen how they present themselves, and move toward better-fit opportunities with more confidence.

The platform is operated by HeXTalent within the broader Careers in HR ecosystem. References to CiHR Talent, we, us, or our refer to the platform and its operator unless the context requires otherwise.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing, registering for, or using CiHR Talent, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

Account use and eligibility

You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for the activity that takes place under your account. Information you submit should be accurate, current, and not misleading.

If you are creating an account on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

What CiHR Talent is and is not

CiHR Talent is intended to support clearer career direction, stronger positioning, and better preparation for next-step opportunities. It is not a guarantee of placement, interview access, employer outreach, or professional introduction.

While the platform may support aligned opportunities, visibility settings, request-based interactions, or future introduction layers, those are selective platform capabilities rather than guaranteed outcomes.

Your content and materials

You retain responsibility for the content, files, and information you upload or provide through the platform, including CVs, profile information, written responses, and supporting documents. You confirm that you have the right to provide that material and that doing so does not infringe another person’s rights.

By using the platform, you grant us the limited rights reasonably needed to host, process, display, store, and use that material in connection with operating and improving CiHR Talent.

Visibility, opportunities, and introductions

CiHR Talent is not designed as an open public marketplace. The platform may, over time, support more selective visibility, opportunity alignment, or higher-context introductions, but those features are intended to be handled with discretion rather than broad public exposure.

Nothing in the platform guarantees that you will be introduced to a hiring manager, surfaced to an employer, shortlisted for a role, or advanced in a process.

Acceptable use

You must not use the platform to:

  • provide false, misleading, or harmful information
  • upload material you do not have permission to use
  • interfere with platform security, stability, or availability
  • attempt to access data or accounts without authorisation
  • use the platform for unlawful, abusive, or deceptive purposes

Platform changes and availability

We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or remove parts of the platform from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always remain unchanged.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the CiHR Talent platform design, content structure, features, and underlying materials remain the intellectual property of the platform operator or its licensors. You may use the platform for its intended purpose, but you may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose protected materials beyond what the law permits.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CiHR Talent is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every circumstance.

We are not responsible for decisions made by employers, candidates, recruiters, or other third parties, and we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.

Privacy

Your use of CiHR Talent is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and handled.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time as the platform evolves. When we do, the updated version will be published on this site with a revised effective date.

Governing law and contact

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, unless the law requires otherwise.
